Estate management

Making data the foundation of your estate management strategy

Organisations, particularly those with large site-intensive estates, need the right tools, processes, and resources in place to collect, manage, check and optimise data effectively.

Estate energy management can be challenging, even when you have a dedicated in-house resource, as it can be complicated by acquisitions and disposals, meter upgrades, supply contract changes, increasing asset complexity and obsolete or missing data.

We have the tools and systems to support you with the management of your estate. From our client portal UNIFY, you can keep track as we manage change of tenancies, arrange void supply contracts and schedule smart meter installations.

Metering site services

We offer a range of half-hourly (HH) and AMR metering services nationwide for electricity, gas and water supplies.

Energy data collection

Our data collection team handle over 150,000 utility bills each month, removing the hassle of collecting utility bills and usage data for our clients. We handle both paper and electronic bills and make sure that we capture all of your data to meet supplier obligations on time.

Energy data management

We create a comprehensive utility portfolio on our in-house proprietary software CARO (Collect, Analyse, Report, Optimise) reflecting your energy estate. We collect and maintain a range of data for each property, including details of ownership, meters, supply contracts, asset registers and cost allocation (internal cost centres).

Changes of Occupancy (COO)/Changes of Tenancy (COT)

Where you’re likely to be moving into and exiting sites, estate management can soon get messy. Suppliers will often ask for details such as a lease agreement or legal proof of ownership from your solicitor and a change of tenancy can take up to three months.

Having a partner to project manage your move can take care of all this for you ahead of your move date, ensuring a smooth transition and that all your records are up-to-date and correct.

Void management

Void management is the process of managing vacant properties after a tenant has moved out and before a new tenant moves in. Successful void management reduces the turn-around time on properties so you don’t incur costs of upkeep. To help you better manage your void property, we have created a seamless and time-saving process.

Did you know? Having an effective void management process in place even helps you contribute to achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals – ask us how!
