The role of Account Executive is the gateway to Account Management positions within Inspired PLC.

Over 4 x 6-month rotations you will work closely with different Account Directors and Senior Account
Managers to learn the energy industry, Inspired systems and how to provide the best level of service
to our clients. Following your final successful rotation you will have built and acquired your own
portfolio of clients and transition into an Account Manager role.

  • Each rotation will focus on a different element of account management including:
    › large and energy intensive customers
    › multi-site operations
    › public sector
    › key accounts
  • Under the supervision of an Experienced Account Director/Senior Account Manager you will:
    › assist your supervisor to deliver the service required to their clients.
    › become an additional point of contact for clients
    › deal with a wide portfolio of blue-chip customers, providing proactive services which range
    from tendering, reporting and market guidance.
    › assist with the sale/renewal process for assigned clients ensuring revenue is maximised as
    soon as possible for as long as possible.
  • You will learn to be able to:
    › meet sales targets by identifying customer need for various Inspired products, pitch and then
    close sales.
    › report market positions and news to customers
    › manage customers through a Customer Relationship Management system (CRM –
    › resolve general issues in a timely manner, ranging from objections, terminations, data, billing,
    & change of tenancies.
    › tender and analyse supply offers for both fixed and flexible supply agreements
    › understand the creation and implementation of risk management trading strategy on behalf
    of clients
    › develop productive relationships with clients in order to sell additional services and products
    to assigned clients at the right time
    › represent Inspired at industry events and at customer premises
    › develop the ability to recognise the need to explain to clients public sector procurement, CCA’s, ESOS
    › stay up to date with changes to the energy industry
    › read and comply with the company Health & Safety Policy; taking reasonable care for the
    Health & Safety of themselves and others; co-operate with managers and other employees in
    fulfilling our objectives and statutory duties.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office  applications (Excel essential)
  • Minimum 5 GCSE’s A-C grade including Maths and English
  • Clean & Full UK Driving License
